Fashion

Meredith studied fashion design at FIT in New York and worked at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she immersed herself in fashion history and design, and developed her taste for beading and embroideries. She went on to work for many big-name designers like Anna Sui, Calvin Klein, Armani, and Gucci, and was involved in various facets of the industry such as technical, costume, and exhibition design. She eventually started her own collection, Meredith Burns, which was shown in New York, Paris and L.A. with Showroom Seven.

Her designs have been worn by many celebrities and have been featured in fashion editorials including Italian Vogue, Vanity Fair, Women’s Wear Daily, The London Times, Teen People, and Time Out New York, among others. The collection was carried at exclusive international boutiques from Neiman Marcus to Saks Fifth Avenue to Kabuki Paris, Clube Chocolate Brazil, and United Arrows Japan
